About Actor Lashmi Vizcaino

I graduated from UMass Amherst with a double degree in Communication and Spanish (yesss girl!!!). There I first experienced working in a live TV studio in student-led productions both in front and behind the camera. More recently I’ve starred in student films from Emerson College and Boston University, and currently taking Advanced Scene Study via zoom with the Baron Brown Studio in Santa Monica, CA.

A New England girl at heart, I was born in Boston and raised in Milton, MA. One of my dreams growing up (& yes it came true) was to study abroad in a Spanish-speaking country to connect with my Hispanic culture (“Dominicana soyyyy”). So I went to Santiago de Chile in South America which quite literally changed me.

When I’m not studying lines or on a set, you can find me working as an ESL Paraprofessional for 3rd and 6th graders in the Worcester Public School system. As much as they drive me insane in the classroom, my favorite part of the job is connecting with the students who come from different countries and being a role model to them.

Along with acting, I started out in the entertainment industry by modeling. I've worked mostly with independent photographers and students in the Boston area, but have my fair share of working studios. I loveee to dress up, do my makeup and hair, and collaborate making a new world!
